A Tribute To Fareez's G9

Fareez loved this car, I loved ths car...we both loved ths car

Fareez had changed/ or added the following to the old Toyota G9 (pic taken whn only a few stuff done):

- 4-1 extractor
- change front grill
- window visor
- rear roof spoiler
- white lite bulb
- strut bar
- air filter/ capsule
- grounding cable
- voltage stabilizer
- fuel magnet
- electric twin horn
- lightened pulley
- 2 inch piping
- straight-thru exhaust
- rims & tyres
- front camberkit
- open pod filter
- cold air intake
- koni shocks & lowered spring
- fully tinted
- volt & vacuum gauge
- twin rear muffler etc....
(I am "as clueless as u" abt wht some of these thgs refer to..hehe.. )

As much as we loved it, we had to let go. Fafa had an accident on 31 Jan 05 & the car was badly damaged. It had to be scrapped & the last we heard tht it was exported to Indonesia or smthg...He was alone...Luckily Fafa was not hurt (syukur Alhamdulillah).

The next few mths we had to take MRT (hard on him cos he rarely needs to take public transport, i'm oklah cos I take the MRT to work almost everday). Imagine, home to work (in the east) then to school (jurong) certain days...it was quite tiring for him then. Somethg good came out of all ths though - he's more appreciative of his car & he's more cool-tempered on the road)

He got his Vios a few mths later in Jun05 (no nee pic lah eh...vios on the road always can see) but its just not the same..Both of us feel the difference...i feel tht its much lighter, not as solid as g9, even with the sound proofing of certains parts....Sigh..Sad thg is thy no longer sell new G9s in Spore. Maybe we can get bck a similar one via parallel import nxt time...hmmm. In the meantime, I guess Vios has done a lot for us so we've got to be thankful. : ) Eh btw, he must have spent a bomb on the mods, a bit wasted ah eh, if not my hantaran 20k..... : P

Anyways, got some news from my mgr abt work today but can't share it now...its a big change for me, I'm kinda worried but I can't share now lah...news still confidential lah..maybe tomorrow yeah?

I found the cure for headaches!

Went for class ths morning. I was suppose to have tuition at 4pm (no, no I'm not the tutor, i'm the "tutee"- for my stats subject) but had to cancel cos I had a bad headache. Probably becos its was raining so heavily on my way to & bck from class & my small umbrella didnt really help me much...Anyways, glad I'm better now, dun wanna MC tomorrow. And oh, I think I found the cure for headaches...(well for me at least).

My headache got better whn I looked at ths pic earlier...honest!!! Hmm, I'm beginning to wonder if ths is really Fafa's baby pic, the hair is so straight...so different now...hehe..but I believe u cos the "cuteness" is still there. (Fafa, do i get a new camera for tht compliment? no? : P )

Exam & "Taxi-Sickness"

I had my exam (for ths short course i'm taking on nutrition) this morning. I was almost late for the paper but luckily Fafa came to my rescue & sent me to peck seah street. Went in exam room at 11.55, finished 45mins later. No, no, I'm not some genius, I only had to do 50 MCQs and 20 True/False. For me, MCQ means - either u knw the the answer or u don't. I dun believe in re-checking the answers cos tht'd only confuse me further. I may end up changing a correct answer (with me, thgs like tht are possible..hehe). Tht's why I'll only chk once. But of course, I'd be more "on" if ths were some major exam lah. Fafa couldn't send me home or go out with me after tht cos he already has fishing plans with Khai. I had to take cab (well, not really have to, I can take the mrt but hmm, i was wearing skirt & carrying my thick textbook. hope tht's a valid excuse). I dunno why, but I always get "taxi-sickness",esp if I get the type of cabbies who like to "jerk" a lot, like the one I had just now...

Anyways, as soon as I reached home, I rushed to find thgs I can add to my blog. I'm so new to ths, so much to learn. I've finally have a pic of me & Fafa up at the profile portion (but duno why its so tiny). I also have a shoutbox, counter & a music vdo. Still many thgs left to do. BooHoo...K lah, wanna look ard for pics I can upload & also wanna get some "fuel" for my tummy...sooo hungry...tempted to order sarpino's pizza..hmmm

My First Day

Phew~finally decided on a name for the blog.
I know, I know, people started blogging years ago but I've just started.
Well, I guess ths is a good time for me to start cos I'm currently in a new
phase in my life. I was recently engaged to my long-term bf, Fareez aka
Fafa. We got engaged on 8 April 06 (we didnt want to get engaged at first,
we were both so against the idea, we wanted to go straight to marriage but
after loads of thinking, we decided to go ahead). The funny thg is when we
told our family/frens we were getting married next year, some were like
"eh so fast?" and "cepatnye?"...hmmm...the past few years I've been getting
questions like "how come u still not getting married yet?" and "when is
your wedding, how come wait so long?"....ironic, dont u thk? But its ok lah,
most are happy for us.

How have thg's changed after engagement? Alhamdullillah thgs are better
now - we're respectg each other more, taking care of each other's feelings more,
having lots of fun looking out for wedding stuff (well i guess I'm more excited
in ths area..hehe), we're taking classes to improve ourselves etc..
Of cos, I'd be lying lah to say tht there are no more squabbles & tht evrythg is
suddenly so perfect eversince the enagagement. Hey, we need those little
squabbles to spice things up a bit..Hehe.. There may be little improvement
in certain areas but both of us are trying & learning together.

Well,I must admit, its kinda exciting being in ths phase, esp after being bf & gf for
over 10years..

And oh, the best part is handling the "when's ur turn?" question at wedding.
I can finally say : "Insya-Allah Apr 07" instead of my usual "Erm..erm, not yet"

Okie dok, enough for tonight, gotta sleep. Fafa's prob waiting for my call..Sorry
